Role Description The Document Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role involves preparing, organizing, and reviewing student application and visa-related documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant guidelines. The Document Specialist collaborates closely with counselors and students to clarify document requirements, track submissions, and maintain updated records in internal systems. Daily responsibilities include coordinating document checklists, validating supporting documentation, managing physical and digital files, and escalating any discrepancies or risks for timely resolution. The role also requires clear communication with stakeholders, adherence to standard operating procedures, and contribution to continuous improvement of documentation processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in document preparation and legal document preparation, with attention to detail and compliance with institutional and visa requirements.
  • Proficiency in document management and document review, including organizing, tracking, and maintaining accurate physical and digital records.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with students, team members, and external stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
  • Ability to work systematically, meet deadlines, and manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
  • Comfort with office productivity tools and basic data entry; experience with CRM or case management systems is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in education consultancy, immigration services, or documentation roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in any discipline; degrees in business, law, administration, or related fields are a plus.
  • Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to non-discriminatory, student-focused service.
