Description
- Elicit and Document Requirements: Lead workshops, interviews, and process analysis (as-is and to-be) sessions with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define clear business requirements for document and records management solutions (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText, etc.).
- Process Mapping: Develop business process maps and present to client with to-be process maps.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system configuration, metadata structures, content classification/taxonomy, and security access profiles within the DMS.
- Perform Gap analysis with respect to product release road map and negotiate with client for approval.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) and primary communication channel between business users, developers, quality assurance (QA) teams, and system administrators.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Business Analysis: Requirements Elicitation, Gap Analysis, creating BRDs, FSDs, Use Cases, and User Stories (Agile/Scrum).
- Document Management: Had good understanding of document lifecycle, document metadata, virtual documents and archiving features.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with at least one major Document Management System (DMS) or Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum, Opentext).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication, Stakeholder Management, Presentation skills, Critical Thinking, and Problem-Solving.
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field. 06 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on document or content management.
- Support system rollouts, including training development, end-user training delivery, and communications to facilitate user adoption.
