We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team in Ahmedabad, India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our organization's documentation systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards.

  • Develop and implement document control procedures and systems to ensure efficient management of all project-related documentation
  • Maintain a comprehensive document management database, including version control, distribution, and archiving of documents
  • Review and process incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish and maintain document control processes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct regular audits of document control systems to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare and distribute reports on document status, metrics, and other relevant information to stakeholders
  • Train and support team members on document control procedures and best practices
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of document templates and standardized formats
  • Ensure proper security and confidentiality of sensitive documents
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate smooth information flow

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10years of experience in document control or a similar role
  • Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of document control procedures, best practices, and industry standards
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in English at a business level
  • Experience with IT systems and databases
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification in document control or records management (preferred)
