Job Summary
The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation in a systematic and secure manner. The role ensures that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant teams. This position plays a critical role in supporting project operations by maintaining document control procedures, tracking revisions, and ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all project documents, records, and files in both physical and digital formats.
- Ensure all documents are properly categorized, coded, updated, and stored in the document management system (DMS).
- Control and track the distribution of documents, drawings, and correspondence.
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
- Manage document revisions, updates, and version control.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other departments for document submissions and retrieval.
- Ensure timely processing, scanning, filing, and archiving of documents.
- Prepare and maintain document logs, registers, and transmittals.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and security.
- Assist teams during audits by providing required documentation and reports.
- Implement and maintain document control procedures and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0102 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in document management systems (Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, PDF tools, Excel, etc.).
