CHARYA'S is a precision-driven food manufacturing company building clean-label, millet-based functional foods for India and global markets. We operate at the intersection of nutrition science, process engineering, and disciplined execution to create gut-friendly, low-GI, shelf-stable products that can scale to global quality standards.

Our work spans R&D-led formulation, structured manufacturing, and audit-ready scale-up across bars, baked products, and emerging functional formats. We run with a strong bias toward first-principles thinking, documentation rigor, and process control, building systems that can withstand audits, partnerships, and long-term growth.

CHARYA'S is intentionally moving beyond artisanal food making into repeatable, compliant, high-integrity manufacturing.

Why This Role Exists (Read Carefully)

Our Google Workspace has grown organically and now needs discipline, structure, and governance before scale makes cleanup painful.

This role is not IT support, not automation, and not tool deployment. It is about process enforcement, document ownership, and behavioral control. If you are uncomfortable saying this is not allowed and enforcing it, do not apply.

What You Will Own (Non-Negotiable)

You will take full ownership of bringing order to Google Drive by doing the following:

1. Shared Drive Architecture

  • Design a clear Shared Drive structure by function, lifecycle, and access tier
  • Define what belongs in Shared Drives vs what must never live in My Drive
  • Assign ownership models (not shared responsibility)

2. Document Governance Rules

  • Define what constitutes an official document
  • Set naming conventions, versioning logic, and archival rules
  • Establish rules that prevent duplicate creation and orphan files

3. Cleanup & Migration

  • Identify and remove duplicate / outdated / unused files
  • Migrate all official work out of individual My Drives into Shared Drives
  • Ensure no critical IP or operational documents remain personally owned

4. Access & IP Control

  • Define strict access rules for internal teams and external vendors
  • Implement time-bound, role-based access without IP leakage
  • Prevent download / re-sharing risks where required

5. Sustainability & Handover

  • Leave behind a simple, enforceable policy (not a long manual)
  • Define ownership, review cadence, and enforcement mechanisms
  • Ensure the system does not degrade once you exit

What This Role Is NOT

To avoid wasted conversations, be clear:

  • Not an IT admin role
  • Not a Google Workspace reseller or implementation partner
  • Not an automation-first or tool-selling engagement
  • Not a training-only or advisory role

If your default solution is we'll add a tool then this role is not for you.

Ideal Background

We are explicitly looking for people who have enforced documentation discipline in regulated or semi-regulated environments.

Strong preference for:

  • Document Control / QMS / QA Documentation experience
  • Food, Pharma, MedTech, Manufacturing, or similar environments
  • ISO 9001 / ISO 22000 / GMP documentation exposure
  • Experience saying no and designing rules people must follow
