Mlange Lab is a collective of researchers interested in using Human-Centered Computing to develop technical solutions. We work in HCI, VR, Mobile Computing, and Health Sensing.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Doctoral Student at the Mlange Lab, located in IIIT-Delhi. The Doctoral Student will be responsible for conducting research, collecting data, analyzing, and presenting findings. The role includes collaborating with faculty and other researchers, writing academic papers, and presenting at conferences. The student will also assist in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students and participate in educational activities and seminars.

We are looking for people ready to dedicate 5+ years to full-time research. You should be a graduate (preferably B.Tech or M.Tech.) in CSE or related areas like ECE or Mathematics. You should be genuinely curious about research in Human-Computer Interaction.

Our lab regularly publishes in top HCI venues like CHI, CSCW, and Ubicomp, and is well supported by different funding agencies.

Salary and other benefits

For 5 years, you are guaranteed a salary of 60,000 p.m. (all inclusive). You will also have funds to travel to conferences, research labs, etc. IIITD provides hostel accommodation at subsidized rates for PhD students.
