I invite applications from motivated, research-oriented, UGC-NET JRF-qualified candidates interested in pursuing a Ph.D. under my supervision at the NIT Calicut, an Institution of National Importance.

Ph.D. Seats: 8, under my supervision.

Last Date to Apply: 27 October 2026, 10:00 AM (IST).

JRF Mandatory: Only candidates who have qualified for the award of a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) through UGC-NET will be considered for Ph.D. supervision under me. This JRF requirement applies specifically to my supervision opportunities.

Postgraduate Qualification: Candidates with a Masters degree in ANY academic discipline are welcome, subject to institutional eligibility requirements and the relevance of their proposed research.

Especially Encouraged: JRF-qualified candidates with backgrounds in Computer Science, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Geography, and related disciplines.

Research Areas: Education, Artificial Intelligence, Emerging Technologies, Educational Psychology, Sociology of Education, Educational Policy, Inclusive Education, Learning Analytics, and several other interdisciplinary areas listed in the attached poster.

Department to Select: Education (ED).

Admission Route: Scheme I, Full-Time Registration with Government Fellowship (as applicable). Please select the appropriate Scheme I option in the application portal.
