Responsibilities
- Examine patients to assess surgical needs and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform surgeries with precision and care in accordance with medical standards.
- Review and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and laboratory reports.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and instructions to patients.
- Monitor patients recovery and manage any complications.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including surgical notes and follow-up plans.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the operating room.
- Ensure all surgical procedures are conducted following hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Keep up to date with the latest surgical techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in clinical audits, case reviews, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
