Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Doctor of Medicine, based in Patna. The role involves diagnosing and managing patient conditions related to maternity, gynecology, and neonatal care. Responsibilities also include providing antenatal and postnatal care, supporting deliveries (normal and cesarean), managing high-risk pregnancies, offering emergency medical support, and collaborating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Engagement in patient consultation, treatment planning, and documentation of medical records will also be expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating maternity and gynecological conditions, along with experience in managing normal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk pregnancies
• Strong knowledge of antenatal and postnatal care, as well as newborn and neonatal care
• Capability to provide emergency medical care and effectively respond in critical situations
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills, along with the ability to explain medical conditions and procedures clearly
• Commitment to ethical medical practices, patient safety, and evidence-based decision making
• Doctor of Medicine qualification with relevant specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Licensed to practice medicine in relevant jurisdiction and strong adherence to clinical protocols
• Experience in a maternity or hospital setting preferred
• Team collaboration skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
