A leading infrastructure and construction organization is looking for an accomplished Division Head - Technical (Infrastructure Projects) to lead large-scale civil infrastructure projects across multiple regions. This strategic leadership role requires extensive experience in project execution, business development, stakeholder management, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects while driving profitability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale infrastructure projects from planning to commissioning and closure.
  • Drive business growth through client engagement, project acquisition support, and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee project planning, feasibility studies, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Manage tendering, bidding, contract negotiations, and project commercial aspects.
  • Provide technical leadership for design coordination, engineering reviews, and construction methodologies.
  • Develop and monitor project performance metrics, risk management plans, and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Drive innovation, process improvements, and organizational efficiency across projects.

Candidate Profile

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  • MBA or relevant management qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure development, and project management.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects such as highways, flyovers, metro rail, urban infrastructure, bridges, industrial infrastructure, or similar projects.
  • Strong expertise in project planning, execution, contract management, and commercial operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing large teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, risk management, quality systems, and safety standards.
