Job Description
If you love people, the ocean, travel, sport and adventure — this could be your kind of job.
We're looking for an energetic, people-oriented Dive Bookings & Reservations Executive to join our team in Havelock Island, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
This is not your typical hotel reservations role.
You'll be working with people who are travelling to the Andamans to experience the underwater world — helping them plan their dives, choose the right experiences, understand their options and eventually make that experience happen.
We're especially interested in people who come from sports, outdoor, adventure, travel, fitness, retail or active lifestyle backgrounds.
About DIVEIndiaDIVEIndia is a 20+ year-old dive training centre and one of India's leading and largest scuba diving organisations, based in the Andaman Islands.
Our purpose is simple — to introduce people to the magnificent world underwater.
We run:
- Scuba diving experience programmes
- Certification courses
- Advanced diving courses
- Professional-level training
- Recreational diving for certified divers
We operate across Havelock Island and Neil Island, including our dive and stay property, DIVEResort.
What You'll DoYou will be one of the first people our customers interact with — helping turn their interest in diving into an actual Andaman experience.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Handle dive enquiries through phone, WhatsApp and other communication channels
- Speak with customers, understand what they're looking for and recommend the right diving experience
- Help customers plan their dive itinerary based on availability, weather and operational schedules
- Answer questions about diving, courses, accommodation, transfers and the overall DIVEIndia experience
- Prepare quotations and cost estimates
- Follow up with enquiries and manage leads through Zoho CRM and Google Sheets
- Coordinate accommodation bookings with partner resorts
- Coordinate with our on-ground dive teams for schedules and availability
- Manage course assignments and documentation through the SSI Dashboard
- Keep booking calendars and customer information updated
- Coordinate changes, cancellations and last-minute requirements
- Look for solutions when a customer's first choice isn't possible
- Ensure that the customer has a smooth experience from their first enquiry until they arrive in Havelock
We're not looking for a specific degree or a traditional hotel background.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Naturally friendly, energetic and comfortable talking to people
- Curious and excited to learn about scuba diving
- A good listener who can understand what a customer actually needs
- Comfortable having conversations over phone and WhatsApp
- Organised and good at following through on things
- Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where plans can change
- Detail-oriented enough to manage bookings, payments, schedules and customer information
- Comfortable with technology, Google Workspace and basic MS Office
- Fluent in spoken and written English
You do not need to be a certified diver to apply.
But you should genuinely want to understand the world of scuba diving.
You'll learn about:
- Scuba diving and dive equipment
- Diving courses and certifications
- Dive sites and experiences
- Dive planning and operations
- Weather and operational considerations
- How our dive centre works
Being a certified diver is a bonus.
Being someone who is excited to become one is even better.
Where Will You WorkHavelock Island, Andaman & Nicobar Islands
This is a work-from-Havelock role and not a work-from-home position.
You will be based at our Havelock operations and work closely with our dive, reservations and on-ground teams.
If you're someone who wants to live and work in the Andamans, spend your time around the ocean and be part of an active adventure business — that's a big part of the opportunity.
Work Schedule- Dive centre operates 365 days a year
- 6 working days per week
- Weekends are working days
- Weekly off on one weekday
- Working hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with scheduled breaks

- Diving products and courses
- Our destinations and operations
- Customer communication and sales processes
