Role Description

As a District Sales Manager at Growit India, you will oversee sales operations, execute strategies to achieve sales targets, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the assigned district. Day-to-day activities include identifying new business opportunities, managing and mentoring sales teams, conducting market analysis, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires collaboration with marketing and supply chain teams to streamline processes and deliver effective solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat.

Qualifications

i. Graduate in Agriculture or related domain

ii. 2–5 years of experience in the Agriculture sector (Seeds/Crop Protection/Fertilizers/Agri Inputs preferred)

iii. Fluent in the local language and familiar with regional agri-market dynamics

iv. Preferably a local candidate belonging to the designated territory

v. Proven and clean track record of performance with previous employers

B. Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving Sales and Collection targets for the assigned territory
  • Expand business into new Talukas and untapped markets
  • Develop Franchisee / Dealer network and increase dealer share of wallet
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns including:
  • Farmer meetings & field visits
  • Dealer meets
  • Exhibitions & promotional events
  • Execute Trial Plots, collect data, and support product promotion activities
  • Manage and support the existing dealer network; provide timely resolution to queries
  • Generate Farmer leads through various on-field activities and relationship building
  • Create and maintain strong retail and influencer network to drive sales
  • Regular visits to KVKs, FPOs, Institutes, Mandis etc. to drive business growth
  • Provide Agri Know-How and product advisory to farmers
  • Ensure timely Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting of sales activities and market insights
  • Closely coordinate with supply chain for smooth product availability
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and documentation requirements
