Your Role:District Manager - Kolkata

As the District Manager, you will have full business responsibility for sales within the Kolkata district, promoting Elanco products through techno-marketing expertise and business development. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing marketing strategies to drive long-term sustainable growth while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and consistently achieve assigned sales targets, volume, and value objectives within budget and policy parameters.

  • Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with customers, veterinarians, and key accounts through value-added services.

  • Ensure product distribution, stock weight, and visibility of products across the assigned network.

  • Plan and execute brand marketing events and new product launches in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Monitor sales promotions and activities to ensure alignment with plans and take corrective actions as needed.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent level of experience

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or business management

  • Techno-marketing skills and business development expertise

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Experience in the Animal Health industry
  • Proven ability to manage trading terms and maximize return on investment
  • Experience in merchandising and brand strategy execution
  • Strong communication skills for linking field activities with top management
