Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a District Head, based in Ranchi. The District Head will oversee and manage daily operations across the assigned district, including sales and distribution strategies, team management, and customer relationship development. Key responsibilities include meeting sales targets, ensuring proper implementation of marketing initiatives, optimizing supply chain and inventory management, and fostering partnerships with retailers and distributors. An emphasis will be placed on analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Sales and Marketing expertise, with a track record in leading distribution networks and implementing strategies to achieve targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in motivating and mentoring teams
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for market analysis, trend identification, and decision-making
- Experience in supply chain and inventory management within the FMCG industry
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with retailers and distributors
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the FMCG industry and familiarity with commodity products is highly desirable
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualifications would be an advantage
- Proficiency in local languages and regional market knowledge is a plus
