District Finance and Accounts Specialist

Founded in 2007, Educate Girls is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to quality education for girls in India's rural and underserved areas. This is a full-time on-site role in Sitapur for a District Finance and Accounts Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational financial policies. Daily tasks include reconciling accounts, overseeing budgets, supporting audits, and analyzing financial data for decision-making. The role works closely with the district team to provide financial insights and ensure efficient resource utilization.

• Strong foundation in Finance, Accounting, and preparing Financial Statements
• Excellent Analytical Skills for data interpretation and financial decision-making
• Exceptional Communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
• Proficiency in financial tools and software
• Ability to work on-site and in a team-oriented environment
• Educational qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related fields is required
• Experience in the non-profit or education sector is a plus
