Display Test Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Role Summary:
A display test engineer ensures that display modules meet all optical, electrical, and functional quality standards. The role leads the industrialization of display test systems, covering core technologies including flashing, calibration, homogeneity, touch testing, and sub-pixel tests for manufacturing, sample shop, and R&D environments.
Develop Display Test Setup
- Select and integrate optical measurement equipment (spectroradiometers, colorimeters, imaging photometers, gamma meters)
- Define and validate EOL test concepts for production
- Ensure consistent test patterns and lighting conditions
- Implement display calibration (brightness, white point)
- Monitor and maintain golden samples
Automate Display Test Sequences
- Create automated test routines
- Control display patterns (test images, gradients, checkerboards), optical measurement devices, and DUT communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Collect and process measurement data in real time
Required Experience:
- Master's degree in engineering (e.g. Materials Science, Mechanical, or Process Engineering) or equivalent
- Proven track record in leading complex development and industrialization projects across multiple sites; multi-discipline and multi-party project management
