Review & guide team members for preparing/ensuring customer DFM (design for manufacturing) submission for assigned stage of Dispensing/Gluing Process (LIPO)
Understand product design and assign respective responsibilities to team members
Review & guide team members for execution of design and execution of the DOE (Design of experiment) basis customer requirement along with process and product teams
Lead fluid dispensing process engineering for adhesives and functional materials
Own dispense parameter optimization (pressure, speed, volume, temperature) to meet quality and throughput targets
Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions (8D, FACA, Fishbone, etc.)
Work closely with Design, Quality, Production, Supplier teams and Automation
Represent the process team in design reviews, build readiness meetings
Drive projects to reduce cycle time, improve FPY and eliminate waste
Evaluate new technologies, automation solutions and process innovations
Implement error-proofing (Poka-Yoke) and standardization across lines
Ensure all process documents are updated, controlled and audit-ready
Maintain compliance with safety standards, quality guidelines and regulatory requirements
Lead process readiness activities before FAT/SAT, NPI builds and mass production
Address daily production issues and implement sustainable fixes
Escalate critical risks with data-driven analysis and clear action plans
Support rapid response during build issues, line stoppages, or yield drops
Track KPIs and present weekly/monthly process performance
Highlight risks, resource needs and improvement opportunities
Provide accurate engineering updates to management and stakeholders
Review shift updates from Team and report to Group Lead
Represent respective process function in NCMR meeting and provide solution for issues
Responsible for maintenance of CP (process capability) & CPK (process capability index) levels for assigned stage of Dispensing/Gluing Process (LIPO)
Ensure improvement of cosmetic yield performance and take corrective actions (if required) for assigned stage of Dispensing/Gluing Process (LIPO)
Review & execute the root cause analysis DOE's
Execution of corrective and preventive action identified by the engineer and ensure its implementation
Ensure the LBU (line bring up) status for assigned stage of Dispensing/Gluing Process (LIPO)
Review & guide team members for preparing/ensuring submission of standard operating process and ensure that it is periodically updated for assigned stage of Dispensing/Gluing Process (LIPO)
Review & guide team members for preparing/ensuring submission of process DFM for individual stations for assigned stage of Dispensing/Gluing Process (LIPO)
Mentor and coach team members on careers (technical and behavioral aspects of the job)
Resolve conflicts and grievances (if any)
Conduct PFMEA as per defined processes
Finalize the process after performing risk analysis and assessing effectiveness
