We are looking for an experienced US Freight Dispatcher with hands-on experience in the U.S. trucking industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in load booking, carrier coordination, freight negotiation, and dispatch operations. Candidates must be familiar with U.S. logistics processes and capable of managing shipments from pickup to delivery.
Key Responsibilitie
- Source and book loads using DAT, Truckstop, Sylectus, or other load boards,
- Coordinate with U.S. brokers, carriers, and drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Negotiate freight rates with brokers and carriers
- Track shipments and provide real-time status updates
- Handle carrier onboarding and verify documents such as MC, DOT, insurance, and carrier packets.
- Resolve issues related to detention, layovers, TONU, breakdowns, and delivery delays
- Plan and optimize routes to maximize profitability and truck utilization
- Maintain dispatch records and update Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Ensure compliance with U.S. transportation regulations and company policies
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining strong relationships with brokers and carriers
- 3PL company
- Drayage aur OTR movement.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in US Truck Dispatch or Freight Brokerage
- Hands-on experience with DAT Load Board, Truckstop, Sylectus, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of load booking, carrier sourcing, and rate negotiation
- Understanding of MC/DOT compliance, insurance verification, and carrier onboarding
- Experience handling Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Power Only, FTL, and LTL shipment
- Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS]
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Candidates with experience in U.S. Trucking, Freight Brokerage, or U.S. Logistics
