Role OverviewWe are hiring an experienced Dispatcher to manage and coordinate operations for a Canadian trucking company. The role involves planning loads, dispatching drivers, tracking shipments, and ensuring seamless communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams. Candidates must have prior experience handling Canadian routes and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and dispatch loads for Canadian trucking operations
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Track shipments in real-time and provide regular customer updates
- Receive and manage emergency and non-emergency calls
- Prioritize loads based on urgency, delivery schedules, and client requirements
- Use dispatch systems to assign drivers, routes, and equipment
- Monitor driver routes, HOS (Hours of Service), and on-road performance
- Provide drivers with updates on traffic, weather, and delivery instructions
- Handle operational issues and provide quick resolutions
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and dispatch reports
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of Canadian dispatch experience (mandatory)
- Graduate (Bachelor's degree required)
- Strong understanding of Canadian trucking operations and regulations
- Hands-on experience with:
- Amazon Relay
- Samsara (ELD & tracking)
- TruckMate / Trimble
- Proficiency in MS Office and dispatch/scheduling software
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Compensation & Work Schedule- Salary: ₹25,000+ (depending on experience)
- Working Days: 4 days per week
- Shift: 12-hour rotational shifts (aligned with Canadian time zones)
