Dispatch Planning Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the distribution roadmap to create measurable value for the business.
• Develop and implement inventory planning policies, processes, and strategies in alignment with business goals.
• Design the distribution network and fulfillment plan for various product categories based on market demands.
• Assess financial structures and inventory storage capabilities to optimize the fulfillment process.
• Manage the distribution network to ensure it adds value and supports the overall supply chain strategy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including plants, sales, and supply planning teams to achieve desired customer service levels.
• Analyze and review order fill rate parameters regularly and adjust analytical models for continuous improvement.
• Guide the team in monitoring FG inventory across all locations to plan dispatch efficiently.
• Support the opening and closure of distribution nodes to maintain optimal network cost and service levels.
• Ensure timely supply of products as per organizational demand forecasts.
• Anticipate stock requirements based on business trends while avoiding excess investment in slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Manage vendor relationships to support execution of analytical and operational initiatives.
• Evaluate vendors for quality and cost-effectiveness, and ensure timely resolution of issues and payments.
• Conduct periodic reviews with vendors and internal teams for seamless execution of projects.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to implement distribution and supply chain improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, faster delivery, and alternative distribution channels.
• Communicate supply planning findings and ensure affected units are aligned with revised operations.
• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, including updates on demand trends and expert sessions from the supply domain.
