The Position
Job Title: Disease Area Marketing Lead
As DAML, you will be building the marketing strategy for the assigned brands and overall disease area; and be responsible for ensuring the marketing strategy gets delivered with confidence and conviction in working closely with the cluster marketing and broader teams. You will connect with the CEETRIS/ global teams to pull brand solutions from the network and help develop via work packages where gaps exist. You will be a member of the Cross Functional Pan India Disease Squad; and report into the Disease Area squad Lead.
The Opportunity
- You will be Co-creating portfolio strategy, plans and objectives leveraging outside in perspective
- Build the integrated DA and Brand Plan along with the DA Squad Lead, the cross functio nal Pan India DA team, and importantly the PPOCs across India. It will be critically important the strategy is built on the insights gained from the PJPs and HSPs and the cluster teams. They are closest to our customers and their insights need to lead the strategy development.
- You will be building strong relationships with the identified key stakeholders from Key Doctors, Accounts or Government stakeholders to build Roche equity and gain customer insights - to incorporate into our work
- You will ensure compliance of the marketing strategy with Roche and Local guidelines for all Roche Initiatives and develop Patient Persona based solutions
- You will liaison with Global & regional team for brand related campaigns, cross Pollination of Best Practices and share insights from cluster specific data on patients, diseases, patient journey etc and design solutions to increase patient impact
- Design of awareness campaigns solving for patient journey challenges & calculate ROIs and support customization of pricing. In this context, the role provides commercial insights to inform Access & Medical functions, but does not own decision-making for pricing, commercial contracting, reimbursement, etc. Marketing and field insights will be generated using methodologies that comply with data privacy laws, competition laws, and ethical standards
- You will gather insights and prepare effective pre-launch / launch strategies for new assets in the respective disease areas ensuring that the latest innovations reach patients in need
Who you are
We are seeking a highly collaborative, process-oriented Marketing Postgraduate with 5+ years of specialized experience within the Oncology therapeutic area (specifically lung or liver cancer). This individual will possess a powerful combination of commercial acumen, strong alliance management capabilities, and a proven track record of high-impact marketing execution within the complex Indian healthcare ecosystem.

- Oncology Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Indian healthcare ecosystem, emerging market landscapes, and specific clinical nuances of lung/liver oncology
- Commercial & Strategic Marketing: Strong mastery of marketing fundamentals, a data-driven insight generation mindset, and a history of flawless campaign execution
- Alliance Management & Collaboration: Exceptional networking and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage complex external alliances and drive cross-functional teamwork
- Operational Rigor & Project Management: A highly structured, process-oriented approach backed by strong project management skills, fluency in modern productivity tools, and strict compliance with organizational SOPs and external regulations
- Problem-Solving & Communication: An articulate communicator adept at converting customer insights into actionable commercial strategies to solve complex market challenges
