Job Profile:

• Designs, improves, and integrated manufacturing systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy.
• Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.
• Discrete Event and In-Plant Logistics Simulation
• Process Flow, Material Flow and Throughput Simulations: Simulate various material flow scenarios to identify potential bottlenecks, minimized buffer size and optimize throughput.
• AGV Routes optimization: Simulate AGV operations to identify and mitigate traffic concerns, including static clash detection and gridlock identification.
• Conduct specific experiments on facility process efficiency, operator travel time.
• Able to work in both 2D and 3D Simulation.
• Operator Efficiency: Assess operator travel time.
