Director (Value-creation)

• Lead cybersecurity engagements across portfolio companies
• Influence senior leaders and drive real, measurable security outcomes

The ideal candidate will likely have:. 8-15 years of relevant cybersecurity experience

. Experience owning and executing cybersecurity programmes within:

o a cybersecurity consulting firm,

o a managed security / cyber advisory environment,

o a private equity portfolio operations setting, and/or

o as a senior cybersecurity leader within a mid-to-large enterprise

. Strong understanding of cyber governance, risk management, incident response, and operational cybersecurity

. Experience working with executive leadership teams and presenting to boards or senior stakeholders

. Exposure to multi-entity or portfolio-style environments preferred

. Experience conducting or overseeing cyber maturity assessments and remediation programmes

. Familiarity with modern security tooling across endpoint security, identity and access management, cloud security, backup, monitoring, and incident response

. Good understanding of evolving regulatory and governance expectations across cybersecurity and operational resilience

. Strong understanding of how AI is changing the cybersecurity landscape, including AI-enabled threats, GenAI governance considerations, AI-assisted attacks, and emerging AI-native defensive tooling.

. Ability to operate in a lean, fast-moving, highly collaborative environment

. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple organisations and drive execution in environments without direct authority.
