We are seeking a talented individual to join our Training (Insurance Operations) team at Marsh Risk, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Director – Training (Grade G)
The Senior Learning and Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and coordinating delivery of comprehensive training programs (Technical & soft Skills) tailored to the needs of our colleagues in India GCC.
We will count on you to:
Coordinate all Training (Technical & soft skills) efforts across Marsh Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high quality and engaging, end-to-end systems training courses. This includes , instructional materials, e-learning modules, instructor-led courses (virtual hybrid and in-person), blended learning programs and other materials as required
- Develop a process of oversight and governance of regular reviews and updates of system training courses and content in line with system changes and updates.
- Coordinate and support training sessions virtually and in-person, including facilitation and workshop coordination.
- Support the maintenance and updating of training resources on the Marsh Training Hub on the SharePoint platform.
- Monitor and report on Training metrics and KPIs to senior leadership to demonstrate effectiveness.
- Provide effective reporting of onboarding performance to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making
Technical Training
- Work with Training SPOCS within teams to identify themes for standardization, improved colleague experience & training effectiveness
- Create Framework for Post Training – Mentoring until learner becomes fully effective
- Coordinate Training Certification efforts (eg CII for UK) and manage it within the Training budget accordingly
Soft Skills Training
- Create Framework for Training Need Identification (TNI) and identify top themes for Intervention at various Grades
- Coordinate with Internal stakeholders and external vendors to plug gaps
- Create Framework for post Training – implementation effectiveness
- Create Governance Framework for regular reporting to Senior Management.
- Work with the extended team of Training SPOCS from various Departments.
What you need to have:
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in learning and development or training Leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering digital and virtual learning solutions.
- Experience managing multiple projects and adapting to changing environments.
- Experience with onboarding and talent development initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience with Articulate, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Strong work ethic and commitment to team success.
