Job Description

We are building a high-performing engineering team that harnesses the power of Claude AI and Agentic Code, and we need a technical leader who thrives equally in architecture reviews and in the weeds of a pull request. This is a rare opportunity to define how an ambitious, AI-native engineering culture is built from the ground up.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of 10–12 engineers across full-stack, backend, and infrastructure — set the bar, mentor relentlessly, retain top talent
  • Be the technical face to customer architects and solution reviewers — design reviews, pre-sales evaluations, architecture discussions
  • Own WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) discipline: stories must be crisp, estimated, and unambiguous before development begins
  • Track sprint health with precision — surface blockers fast, resolve faster, never let the team stall silently
  • Champion Claude AI and Claude Code across the development workflow — code review automation, AI-assisted scaffolding, intelligent test generation
  • Mature the CI/CD pipeline — reduce cycle time, increase deployment frequency, build a culture of continuous improvement
  • Stay technical: review code, pair on hard problems, be the person engineers turn to when they're stuck
  • Partner with product, infrastructure, and enterprise architects on platform alignment

Tech Stack

  • Cloud: Azure (AKS, App Service, Functions), Azure DevOps, Bicep/Terraform
  • App: .NET/C#, React, Python
  • AI: Claude AI, Claude Code, Anthropic API
  • Delivery: CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, quality gates

What You Bring

  • 12+ years in software engineering; 4+ years in technical leadership
  • Fluent in the Microsoft stack — you can review .NET code, spot a React anti-pattern, debug an Azure pipeline failure
  • Proven track record building and scaling engineering teams
  • Strong CI/CD background — you've built pipelines and driven measurable delivery improvements
  • Comfortable with customer-facing technical conversations: architecture proposals, RFP responses, solution design sessions
  • Already using AI-assisted dev tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in your own workflow
  • Excellent English communication — spec writing and exec-level presentations alike
  • Healthcare technology exposure is a strong plus; experience with US-HQ distributed teams is preferred
