Role Overview

The organization is seeking an Director/Associate Director with expertise in IT Due Diligence (pre-deal), IT Performance Improvement (profitability, cost base, processes), IT Advisory and Strategy, and Post-transaction IT Advisory (including Post Merger IT Integration, IT Carve-outs, and 100-day IT Planning in M&A).

The Team Digital Technology Solutions (DTS)

The DTS team provides a range of specialized services to clients, including:

Data & Applied Intelligence Helping clients harness the power of data and advanced analytics to drive intelligent decision-making and business transformation.

Product and Innovation Empowering clients to innovate, develop, and launch products that drive growth and competitive advantage.

Technology M&A and Strategy Assisting clients in managing the technology aspects and business enablement of complex M&A, integrations, and carve-outs.

Technology Transformation Supporting clients in building scalable, cost-effective IT functions that align with strategic business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational insights, as well as IT transformation support, to private equity-owned and corporate businesses through deep functional knowledge.
  • Advise and implement IT performance improvement programs across a wide range of industry sectors.
  • Conduct comprehensive technology and E-Commerce due diligence pre-transaction, and provide post-transaction services including Post-Merger Integration, Carve-outs, and 100-day planning.
  • Perform rapid diagnostics and detailed IT due diligence to assess a company's key technology issues, digital propositions, product profitability, cost base, processes, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Lead post-acquisition work to ensure that IT Due Diligence and Operations Due Diligence recommendations are fully realized in the shortest possible timeframe.
  • Drive 100-day IT planning for carve-outs, post-merger integration, and IT performance improvement initiatives.
  • Design and implement digital transformation programs in Data Science & Analytics, Digital Workforce & Artificial Intelligence, and Digitization.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by developing successful pitches and converting diagnostic phase projects into implementation work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 11 years of technology experience with a proven track record of executional success in IT and digital transformation (preferably in the European market).
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, with analytical and data mapping skills across IT cost trends, IT products, support systems, and vendor/supplier relationships.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience in top-tier strategy consulting, Big 4 advisory, boutique IT consulting firms, or consulting divisions of large IT organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering IT due diligence (pre-deal) and/or post-deal programs (mergers, carve-outs) and IT transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience in IT integrations and separations, identifying IT synergies, outsourcing opportunities, and cost-reduction programs.
  • Ability to work effectively within international teams and deliver measurable improvements in Technology and IT performance.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presenceable to present findings clearly, summarize key insights, and deliver high-impact messages to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, business acumen, and strategic thinking capabilities.
