Job Description

About Snapmint

Founded by IIT Bombay alumni (Nalin Agrawal, Anil Gelra, Abhineet Sawa), Snapmint is building India's most loved payment brand. We pioneered Pay in 3 through UPI and are also home to India's leading 0% EMI e-commerce app — giving millions of Indians the freedom to shop now and pay in monthly instalments, with no extra cost and no credit card required.

Today, Snapmint has crossed 50M+ app downloads and is the preferred payment partner for 2,000+ leading consumer brands, including Zepto, ixigo, Adani, District Store, Titan and many more. We're on a mission to make fair, transparent credit accessible to Young India - and make payments simple, enjoyable and worry-free.

Headquartered in Mumbai, with offices across major metros including Bengaluru, Gurugram, Delhi and Jaipur, we're building at the intersection of commerce, credit, technology and culture. If you want to work on a product used by millions, build a brand people genuinely love, and help redefine how the next generation of India pays and spends you'll fit right in.

Come build Snapmint and help us change how India pays.

The Role

We're looking for a Director, Supply Chain Product to own product strategy and execution across Snapmint's entire order fulfilment and supply chain stack — from the moment a customer starts checkout to the moment a return, replacement, or dispute is fully resolved. This is a senior product leadership role spanning both the pre-ordering experience (inventory selection, courier and shipping-promise logic, serviceability) and the post-ordering experience (real-time operations visibility, failed-delivery recovery, courier performance and cost management, escalations, and the customer-facing order journey).

You will set the multi-quarter roadmap and OKRs for the supply chain product org, build and lead a team of product managers, and be the single point of accountability for fulfilment reliability, delivery experience, and operational cost efficiency as Snapmint scales. You will partner closely with founders and functional leadership, and represent supply chain product in company-wide strategy and business reviews. This role owns the outcomes; the existing Product Manager – Order Fulfilment role (and future hires into the team) will report into this position.

Role Title: Director – Supply Chain Product

Department: Product

Employment Type: Fulltime

Experience: 8-12

Location: Bangalore

Working Model: Work from Office - 5 Days per Week

Entity: Snapmint Credit Advisory Private Limited

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and OKRs for Snapmint's supply chain and fulfilment stack end to end, from pre-order promise to post-order recovery
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of product managers and analysts covering fulfilment, logistics, and post-purchase experience
  • Set and own the north-star metrics for fulfilment health (exception rate, delivery reliability, escalation volume, and recovery rates), and report progress to founders and leadership on a regular cadence
  • Make the build-vs-buy and sequencing calls across the supply chain product portfolio, prioritising investment based on financial and customer-experience impact
  • Represent supply chain product in cross-functional and leadership forums, and act as the primary product partner to Operations, Logistics, Seller/Merchant, and Engineering leadership

Pre-Ordering Experience

  • Own the product strategy for inventory and seller selection (BuyBox) — ensuring the right seller/warehouse is chosen for every order based on price, serviceability, stock freshness, and performance history
  • Own the Promise Engine — lane assignment, shipping-type selection, and estimated-delivery-date (EDD) computation — so that what customers are promised at checkout is accurate and reliably met
  • Own the Serviceability Engine — real-time checks by product type and by merchant, so customers are never sold something that cannot actually be fulfilled to their location

Post-Ordering Experience & Operations

  • Own the Control Tower — real-time visibility into dispatch, courier, and exception performance, replacing manual/reactive ops reporting with proactive alerting
  • Own the NDR (failed-delivery recovery) program — building the systems and workflows that rescue failed delivery attempts before they become cancellations or returns
  • Own Escalation Management — predictive delay detection and a unified evidence repository (proof of dispatch, delivery, and returns) that speeds up dispute resolution across customers, couriers, and merchants
  • Own the Courier Allocation Engine and Courier Billing Controls — ensuring shipments are routed to the right courier on a speed/cost/performance basis, and that courier billing is reconciled and disputed systematically rather than paid at face value
  • Own the customer-facing order journey (tracking, cancellation, returns, and EMI-linked order status) across Android, iOS, and web, ensuring it is self-serve wherever possible
  • Define and enforce SLAs across the fulfilment lifecycle, and build the tooling to monitor, alert on, and drive accountability for breaches

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work with Operations, Seller/Merchant, and Warehouse partners to streamline fulfilment execution and improve dispatch accuracy
  • Work with Logistics and courier partners at a strategic level — commercial terms, performance reviews, and lane-level allocation strategy
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams to automate manual fulfilment workflows and scale system capacity ahead of business growth and sale events
  • Build seller- and courier-facing tools and dashboards that create accountability for SLA adherence and performance across external partners

Qualifications

  • 8-12+ years in product management, with at least 3-4 years in a product leadership role owning a team and a multi-quarter roadmap
  • Deep experience in supply chain, logistics, order management, or fulfilment operations products — e-commerce marketplace, quick-commerce, or logistics-tech background strongly preferred
  • Track record of building 0-to-1 systems (order routing, seller/inventory selection, courier allocation, or similar) and scaling them through significant order-volume growth
  • Strong understanding of OMS systems, warehouse and seller/vendor operations, courier/logistics networks, and the data pipelines behind customer-facing order tracking
  • Comfortable operating both strategically (roadmap, org design, executive communication) and in the details (SLA design, exception root-causing, metric definition)
  • Experience managing external partner relationships (courier, logistics, or marketplace sellers) at a commercial/strategic level
  • Exposure to fintech, BNPL, or credit products is a plus, given the tight coupling between order state and repayment/mandate state at Snapmint
  • Excellent cross-functional and executive communication skills — this role reports into founder/leadership-level stakeholders
