Director, Substations - Primary Systems (Relocate to Sydney, Australia!)
What will a day in this role look like:
- Partner with key clients to delivery major energy projects across Australia and New Zealand
- Lead, deliver and support Engineers across large multidisciplinary Energy projects, with a focus on Primary Systems Substation design and design review.
- Drive delivery and technical excellence and ensuring our project teams are delivering on the AECOM client promise
- Identify and lead innovation by seeking and implementing new approaches that continuously enhance our ability to meet the needs of our clients.

Qualifications
What are we looking for from you
- Ideally 10years experience and proven understanding of consulting in substations projects, with experience in primary substation systems (up to 500kV).
- Familiarity with complex Energy projects and substation design standards, including HV substation design, protection schemes and primary plant technologies
- Proven background in partnering closely with clients to deliver remarkable projects
- Approachable leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Local market knowledge of NEM and strong understanding of the Energy market across Australia and/or New Zealand.
