Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Storage & Backup Administrator to manage enterprise storage infrastructure and backup environments across a diverse technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer PowerStore, Unity, HP 3PAR, Alletra, and MSA storage devices
- Manage Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, including zoning configuration
- Handle storage allocations, de-allocations, share creation, and hardware replacements
- Monitor and optimize storage performance and efficiency
- Monitor and administer backup solutions: Commvault, Veeam, and Data Protector
- Perform version upgrades across backup tools
- Manage StoreOnce and Tape Library infrastructure
- Log and resolve incidents via ServiceNow (Incident, Change & Problem Management)
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with 3PAR, Alletra, Unity, and PowerStore
- Proficiency in SAN switch zoning (Brocade & Cisco)
- Strong expertise in Commvault and HP Data Protector
- Experience upgrading Commvault, Veeam, and Data Protector
- Familiarity with NAS storage basics
- Basic knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM
