The Sponsorship Opportunity (Scope & Ecosystem)

BELAP's sponsorship model is built not only on brand visibility, but also on commercial value access, leads, referrals, conversion pathways, and premium community trust. We are building a sponsor ecosystem across high-fit categories such as:

  • Salon & Grooming Chains
  • Jewellery & Accessories
  • Apparel / Workwear / Fashion Marketplaces
  • Footwear
  • Mobility (Car / Scooter / EV)
  • Appliances & Consumer Durables
  • Women's Health & Wellness (IVF, maternity, clinics, hygiene brands)
  • Insurance / Financial Services
  • Women-only travel / hospitality / coworking
  • Lifestyle / productivity / premium services

This creates immense scope for sponsors to participate via marketing / partnerships budgets through outreach visibility + trackable leads and referrals.

Role Overview

We are appointing multiple Sponsorship & Alliances Consultants to drive the full partnership sales cyclefrom identifying prospects to closing sponsorships on a success-fee only basis. This is ideal for professionals who already have strong networks and know how to close sponsorship/brand partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Sponsorship Sales & Alliances

  • Identify relevant sponsor prospects within assigned categories and cities
  • Initiate outreach and convert leads into qualified sponsor conversations
  • Pitch BELAP sponsorship packages (Category Partner / Founding Sponsor/ Outreach Partner)
  • Negotiate commercials, inclusions, and terms; drive closure
  • Coordinate internal handover for fulfilment once closed

Packaging & Commercial Thinking

  • Position BELAP as a brand-growth partnership, not just logo placement
  • Recommend sponsor offers/perks for BELAP community (trackable codes, QR offers, lead forms, demos, consult bookings)
  • Help shape category-specific sponsorship propositions

Reporting & Pipeline Discipline

  • Maintain a simple pipeline tracker (we will provide format)
  • Provide weekly updates: prospects contacted, meetings scheduled, stages, closures expected

What Success Looks Like

  • Closed sponsorships that support BELAP marketing + execution
  • Strong category representation (one strong partner per category)
  • Sponsors onboarded with clear deliverables and measurement hooks (leads/referrals/offers)

Engagement Model & Compensation

  • Compensation is a success fee paid after sponsorship money is received
  • Fee structure will be shared upfront (and can include tiers for higher-value deals)
  • High-value in-kind partnerships (venue, media, etc.) may carry an agreed success fee when they replace cash costs
  • This position does not offer any retainer or any fixed pay or reimbursements

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in sponsorship sales, alliances, partnerships, BD, event sponsorships, brand partnerships
  • Strong network in 12 categories (specialists preferred over generalists)
  • Comfortable selling to senior stakeholders (Marketing/Brand/Partnership heads, Founders, Business Heads)
  • Strong negotiation, follow-up discipline, and closing ability
  • Professional communication and pitch skills (calls, WhatsApp and email)

  • Ex agency partnerships managers
  • Retail chain partnerships / franchise alliances professionals
  • Media sales / corporate partnerships sellers
  • Independent BD consultants with strong brand connects
