IILM University, Gurugram, invites applications from dynamic and accomplished academic leaders for the position of Director – School of AI.

The School of AI is a high-potential academic unit focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and emerging technologies. The Director will provide strategic academic and administrative leadership to strengthen academic excellence, research, industry engagement, and innovation, while positioning the School as a leading centre for AI education.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to the School of AI.

Develop and strengthen industry-relevant, future-ready AI programs and curriculum.

Lead faculty development, research, publications, innovation, and academic collaborations.

Build partnerships with leading technology companies, research institutions, and global universities.

Strengthen industry-integrated learning, internships, live projects, and placement opportunities.

Mentor faculty and inspire students to excel in AI, research, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Drive the School's growth, visibility, and national and international academic reputation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.

20+ years of experience in academia and/or the technology industry, with substantial academic leadership experience.

Proven track record in academic administration, research, curriculum development, and institutional leadership.

Strong understanding of AI, emerging technologies, and industry applications.
