About the Role

We are seeking a Product Director in the Product & Design team, who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product portfolio through structured ideation, stakeholder-led discovery, and long-term opportunity planning. This individual will own the product ideation lifecyclefrom idea intake and opportunity mapping through to convergence on actionable concepts for the Product teams.

You will be the strategic lead for identifying emerging market needs, uncovering white space opportunities, and orchestrating cross-functional ideation forums. Your work will ensure that the product organization always has a rich, validated pipeline of forward-looking opportunities that align with both customer demand and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Innovative Ideation: Bring creative and strategic thinking to product ideation, leveraging deep domain expertise and a sharp understanding of emerging business and technology trendsdiscerning where they drive real value and where they may not. Lead the creation of innovative solutions by building new ideas or converging diverse inputs into impactful products tailored to different industries and organizational needs.
  • Innovation Planning & Idea Prioritization: Lead structured ideation forums with cross-functional stakeholders to explore future product directions. Drive convergence in ideation funnel from broad market signals to a prioritized list of high-impact product opportunities. Champion a culture of innovation across the organization by showcasing successful ideas and improvements.
  • Ideas Portal Ownership: Own and manage the central ideas portal and innovation backlog, ensuring ideas are reviewed, categorized, and aligned based on customer demand, market trends, technical feasibility and strategic impact. Maintain a steady pipeline of validated opportunities for future roadmap planning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation: Facilitate collaboration among Product, Sales, Research, Design, and Architecture to gather demand signals and diverse industry perspectives during ideation. Ensure stakeholder input is structured, time-bound, and actionable.
  • Market Sensing & Opportunity Mapping: Continuously track market trends, emerging technologies, and customer pain points to identify new addressable market and whitespace. Guide ideation themes based on validated demand signals competitor analysis and strategic fit.
  • Concept Development & Handoff: Translate shortlisted ideas into clear problem briefs and concept summaries for Product and Design teams. Ensure seamless transition from ideation toiscovery, enabling continuous roadmap development.
  • Ideation Process Improvement: Create, manage, and continuously refine a structured ideation and opportunity discovery process that ensures Product teams have a strategic, validated, and innovation-aligned roadmap to build from. Define and refine the ideation lifecycle, governance model, and tooling support.
  • Metrics & Analysis: Track success metrics such as idea conversion rate, innovation ROI, and stakeholder engagement.

About you Skills & Experience:


  • Have 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in a strategic, innovation, or ideation-heavy role.
  • Proven track record of leading structured ideation and innovation processes that led to successful product delivery.
  • Strong facilitation, convergence, and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Experience working across multiple functional teams including sales, marketing, engineering, design, and research.
  • Skilled in strategizing and leading ideation workshops to uncover business opportunities, align cross-functional teams, and shape innovative digital initiatives.
  • Ability to balance visionary thinking with pragmatic execution planning.
  • Have an understanding and appreciate the role of the emerging technologies (AI/ML, cloud, industry verticals) in idea solutioning and product ideation.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills. Ability to align diverse viewpoints around common goals.
  • Familiarity with tools like Aha!, Product board, Miro, or Confluence/Jira for ideation and backlog management.
  • MBA, MS in Technology, or other advanced degree preferred.
