Key Responsibilities
Nexus Buying Channel Strategy & Optimization
- Own the end-to-end buying channel strategy within Nexus, including guided buying, self-service, catalogs, managed services, and request based workflows.
- Define channel intent, demand entry criteria, and routing logic to ensure Nexus directs requests to the right buying path at the right time.
- Optimize buying channels to reduce friction, improve cycle time, and increase first time right outcomes.
- Establish adoption, effectiveness, and experience metrics to measure Nexus channel performance and inform continuous improvement.
- Ensure buying channels reinforce Nexus principles of simplicity, transparency, and orchestration.
Nexus Service Transformation & Design
- Lead the transformation roadmap for Nexus intake and orchestration services, translating strategy into scalable, service based offerings.
- Design and evolve procurement services that enable Nexus to operate as a cohesive orchestration layer across categories, regions, and fulfillment models.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or eliminate non value added steps across the Nexus intake and buying experience.
- Partner with the Global Process Owner to shape the Nexus future state and ensure alignment between service design, process standards, and digital enablement.
Operating Model & Orchestration Enablement
- Define service ownership models, interaction points, and handoffs that enable Nexus to function as an integrated ecosystem rather than disconnected processes.
- Support the evolution of global operating models to ensure consistent Nexus service delivery across regions.
- Partner with Category, Operations, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to embed Nexus into day to day ways of working.
Performance, Insights & Change
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure Nexus service performance, buying channel health, and user experience.
- Use insights to drive prioritization, continuous improvement, and investment decisions across the Nexus roadmap.
- Lead change management and stakeholder engagement to accelerate adoption of Nexus buying channels and services.
- Act as a visible advocate for Nexus, reinforcing the shift to an orchestrated, user centric procurement model.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, shared services, operations, or digital/process transformation
- Proven experience designing and optimizing intake models, buying channels, or service based operating models
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience operating in complex, global, matrixed environments
Preferred
- Master's degree or MBA
- Experience with guided buying, intake management, or orchestration platforms
- Background in service design, digital procurement, or operating model transformation
Experience in regulated or highly complex industries
