We are looking for Cyient's next Director – Pricing & Commercials Excellence, who will work in the Global Pricing & Commercial Excellence Function which rolls up to the Global CFO Organisation. The position will be located in our Hyderabad office and will report to the Head of Pricing & Commercial Excellence. We are a dynamic, tech savvy, friendly, and down to earth function who love what we do - so we are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can work as a team player, has commercial understanding within the ER&D space and communicate exceptionally well.
Most definitely you will have the ability to work with limited supervision, mentor junior team members, the desire to learn and work within a truly global organization and a keen interest in cutting edge technology, outsourced engineering services and data privacy. As Cyient operates around the world you'll liaise with stakeholders across jurisdictions on a regular basis and will have a global outlook.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define pricing strategy across ER&D service lines and offerings.
- Design, govern, and evolve pricing models
- Establish pricing archetypes for different deal types (e.g. staff augmentation, transformation, platform build, innovation lab).
- Deal Pricing Governance & Approvals
- Margin Performance & Leakage Control
- Own and maintain a standardized cost and margin structure database
- Ensure transparency and consistency of margin assumptions across deals.
- Enable pricing standardization as a foundation for automation and scale
- Embed guardrails (rate cards, margin floors, discount corridors) into workflows.
- Free up pricing capacity to focus on large, complex, and strategic deals.
- Build and maintain pricing intelligence in partnership with Presales, Sales, and Offerings,
- Provide guidance on:
- Price to win vs price to protect margin
- When and where to flex pricing construct vs rate
- Support bid strategy for competitive pursuits.

Educational Qualification & Experience
- CA/CWA/ MBA (Tier 1) Finance, Strategy Business Management
- 12 years + years of Pricing, Large Deals & Commercial Excellence in ER&D Services industry with sound understanding of Business Finance
