Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Leader with strong expertise in Python and front-end technologies along with hands-on DevOps skills, proven experience in client management, and the ability to lead and inspire engineering teams. In this role, you will drive technical strategy, oversee solution delivery for leading banks, and ensure seamless collaboration between clients and internal teams. Ideal candidates bring a mix of hands-on technical depth and executive-level leadership skills to scale innovative fintech solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse engineering team of 20 professionals across frontend, backend, and DevOps functions.
  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of high-quality software products and features.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and roadmaps.
  • Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable applications and infrastructure.
  • Implement best practices for software development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
  • Manage team performance, conduct regular reviews, and support professional development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in frontend, backend, and DevOps to drive technical excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10-12+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 20+ engineers.
  • Strong technical expertise in frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Solid experience in backend development (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, .NET).
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, containerization, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience in managing mobile applications will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technical innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or tech company is preferred
