We're Hiring: Director – Operations | Leading Chemical Manufacturing Group

Location: Indore | Reports to: Managing Director

Industry: Chemicals / Agrochemicals / Fertilizers / Manufacturing

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned operations leader to take complete ownership of end-to-end plant performance, supply chain, and CAPEX execution. This position requires hands-on expertise in driving full-lifecycle greenfield and brownfield projects from concept to commissioning. You will own the Plan-Source-Make-Deliver model to optimize cost, cash, and service metrics across all manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

Plant Operations & Safety: Deliver top-tier safety, quality, and volume targets while standardizing multi-site SOPs.

Project Management: Execute end-to-end greenfield expansions, brownfield modifications, and CAPEX initiatives.

Cost & Productivity: Lower manufacturing costs, improve equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement.

Supply Chain & Compliances: Manage demand/supply planning, non-commodity procurement, logistics, and EHS compliance.

Leadership & Governance: Build strong plant leadership pipelines and present operational MIS directly to the MD.

What We're Looking For:

Education: B.E./B.Tech (Chemical/Mechanical/Production preferred); MBA is a plus.

Experience: 18+ years in chemical, fertilizer, or agrochemical manufacturing with multi-plant leadership.
