Role Overview

We are seeking a Director – Training to lead enterprise-wide learning strategy and transformation for Core US Healthcare Operations supporting Payer accounts. This is a high-impact leadership role accountable for building scalable, digital, and outcome-driven learning ecosystems that accelerate speed-to-proficiency, elevate quality, and enable workforce readiness across global clinical and non-clinical operations.

The ideal leader brings deep expertise in healthcare operations training, strong executive presence, and a proven ability to drive large-scale learning transformation across multiple geographies and business lines.

Key Responsibilities

Training Strategy & Transformation

  • Lead enterprise training strategy and transformation across Core US Healthcare Operations (Payer accounts), driving clinical capability building and standardized global delivery
  • Build and scale modern learning models combining:
  • Role-based learning pathways
  • Simulation-based training
  • Digital and microlearning solutions
  • AI-enabled learning tools and performance support
  • Drive continuous innovation in curriculum design, assessment strategy, and learner readiness frameworks

Operational Governance & Execution

  • Own end-to-end training governance, including prioritization, capacity planning, risk management, and executive reporting
  • Ensure training programs align to business priorities including quality, productivity, compliance, and talent scalability
  • Establish strong governance across multiple accounts, countries, and stakeholder groups

Business Impact & Performance Enablement

  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Talent Acquisition, and senior leadership to align training with business outcomes
  • Measure and communicate training impact through:
  • Reduced time-to-proficiency
  • Improved quality and compliance metrics
  • Increased productivity and reduced rework
  • Optimized trainer capacity and faster ramp-up

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop large, global training teams across clinical and non-clinical portfolios
  • Influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional priorities
  • Enable workforce transformation supporting automation adoption, internal mobility, and future-ready skills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; medical allied qualification (BPT, BHMS, BAMS, BDS, or MBBS) preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in healthcare training, learning strategy, capability development, or enterprise learning leadership
  • Proven experience leading multi-site or global training operations
  • Strong exposure to healthcare payer operations including:
  • Claims
  • Coding
  • Clinical review
  • Quality and compliance frameworks
  • Experience managing:
  • Large-scale new hire training
  • Upskilling / cross-skilling programs
  • Certification readiness and remediation initiatives
  • Strong data-driven mindset with ability to link learning outcomes to business performance
  • Demonstrated capability in training digitization, curriculum simplification, and learning innovation
  • Strong executive presence, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to support multiple shifts and business requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coding certification (CPC / CIC / COC or equivalent)
  • Experience driving AI-enabled learning, digital transformation, or learning technology adoption
  • Exposure to global healthcare delivery environments with distributed teams
