About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned technology leader to drive the design, development, and delivery of large-scale pharmacy and clinical software platforms. This role requires a strong blend of engineering leadership, product thinking, and healthcare domain understanding to build scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions.
You will lead cross-functional teams to transform complex business requirements into robust technology solutions, ensuring alignment with patient care, safety, regulatory compliance, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and drive the technology roadmap for pharmacy and clinical application platforms
- Align engineering initiatives with business goals, market needs, and patient outcomes
- Promote innovation and adoption of modern engineering practices
Engineering Leadership
- Lead and scale large engineering teams (100+ members) across multiple functions
- Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance
- Partner with senior leadership for resource planning and execution alignment
Product & Delivery Management
- Own end-to-end application lifecycle (design, build, test, release, support)
- Implement Agile, DevOps, and quality engineering practices
- Drive metrics-based delivery, continuous improvement, and user-centric outcomes
Platform & Operations
- Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platform operations
- Oversee infrastructure, cloud environments, and system performance
- Manage vendors, budgets, and cost optimization initiatives
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate effectively with executive and business stakeholders
- Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly insights
- Proactively manage risks and ensure delivery excellence
Team & Talent Development
- Build and mentor future leaders and high-performing teams
- Drive performance management, succession planning, and capability building
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning culture
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of experience in engineering leadership and product development
- Proven experience managing large teams (100+ members)
- Strong expertise in:
- Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Java / Full-stack technologies
- DevOps and modern engineering practices
- Experience building and scaling enterprise-grade platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product lifecycle management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in US healthcare / pharmacy platforms
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, data privacy regulations)
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Understanding of clinical and pharmacy workflows
