You play a key role in driving the firmâs regulatory reporting programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Guides software engineering teams on daily tasks and activities
- Sets expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
- Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products in line with business requirements
- Manages stakeholder relationships and ensures work aligns with compliance standards and service level agreements
- Delivers solutions that adhere to business requirements and tactical best practices
- Drives improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to engineering communities of practice and explores new technologies
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 years applied experience
- Ten years experience leading technology projects
- Seven years experience managing technologists
- Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Expertise in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
