Job Description
Hiring: Director of Software Engineering | AI-First Products & Platforms
Location: Hyderabad (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) | Experience: 15+ Years
We are looking for an accomplished Director of Software Engineering to lead large-scale engineering teams building next-generation AI-first Cloud SaaS products and platforms.
- Experience building and monetizing data platforms for SaaS companies or clients.
- Strong Client facing experience
- Experience in Devops SRE (Good-to-have)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale engineering organizations of 50+ engineers through engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
- Drive enterprise SaaS transformation, including monolith-to-SaaS migration and cloud modernization.
- Lead AI-first product development and adoption of AI-driven engineering practices.
- Partner with Product, Architecture and Business teams to drive technology strategy and business outcomes.
- Build high-performing teams, develop engineering leaders and drive engineering excellence.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with significant leadership experience.
- Proven track record of leading large engineering organizations through monolith-to-SaaS transformation.
- Experience in high-trust domains such as Tax, Payments, Banking or ERP (Good-to-have)
- Strong experience in Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and microservices.
- Technical expertise in Java/Spring Boot or C#/.NET, Python, SQL/NoSQL and modern data platforms.
- Practical experience delivering AI-enabled products and driving AI-first engineering practices.
