Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Director of Sales and Business Development role based in Mumbai. The Director will lead the sales and business development function, define revenue growth strategies, and drive enrollments across centers and channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting and monitoring sales targets, overseeing sales operations, and optimizing processes to improve conversion, retention, and profitability. The role involves identifying new markets, partnerships, corporate tie-ups, and institutional alliances to expand Jetking's footprint in digital skills education. The Director will manage and mentor sales and business development teams, collaborate closely with marketing and academic teams, and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. The position also requires regular analysis of sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform decisions and refine go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Sales and Sales Operations, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in Business Development, including market expansion, partnerships, and channel development.
  • Proven capability in Team Management, including leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Solid Customer Service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with learners, partners, and institutional clients.
  • Extensive experience in the education, training, or EdTech sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in using CRM and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and travel as needed to centers, partners, and events.
