Role Overview:

We are actively seeking a highly motivated Director of Risk Management to join our growing remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our operations, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering exceptional results within your functional area. The ideal candidate will combine big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on, tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict organizational compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Manage critical day-to-day financial transactions and general ledger entries.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership to drive core company milestones.
• Develop, communicate, and execute high-level overarching departmental strategies.
• Lead and assist with critical month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High-level proficiency in industry-standard accounting software and ERP systems.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and asynchronous communication capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to financial accuracy.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
• Proven comfort and productivity operating in a fully remote, distributed environment.
