As Director of Platform Architecture, you will lead the architectural strategy, design, and governance of our next-generation platform capabilities.

These platforms serve as the foundation for hosting a diverse portfolio of products and services across many business lines. You will ensure the platform is multi-tenant, highly scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned to enterprise architecture direction.

• You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Senior Director Engineering.

. Own the architecture vision and multi‑year roadmap for Experian shared platforms.

. Define core platform capabilities (identity, data, API, eventing, observability, shared services) OLTP services.

. Ensure platform scalability to support multiple business domains and customer segments.

. Partner with all stakeholders to prioritise platform features and integration patterns.

. Shape platform aligned to Experian Tiering Framework, including RTO/RPO and HA design.

. Drive reusable patterns and enforce platform guardrails across product teams.

. Guide architectural governance, design reviews, reference architectures, and standards.

. Collaborate with Cloud COE, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to align platform foundations with enterprise policies.

. Lead adoption of cloud-native patterns (AWS-first, Azure presence).

. Champion developer experience improvements, self-service tooling, and automation-driven workflows.

. Mentor architects and engineers, promoting excellence and innovation.

. Drive continuous optimisation of performance, cost, and operational efficiency.

• Must have hands-on experience in programming, infrastructure provisioning and DevOps Pipeline.

Qualifications

. Hands on experience designing, implementing and scaling enterprise-grade platforms with multi-product adoption.

. Strong cloud architecture expertise (AWS Azure beneficial).

. Deep understanding of identity platforms (Okta, OAuth2, OIDC), global API platforms, event-driven systems, and cross-region HA architectures.

. Solid understanding of data ecosystems (NoSQL, relational, vector DBs, streaming).

. Experience in financial services, fraud, or identity verification platforms.

. Familiarity with SAFe, Agile, and platform operating models.
