Role Description The Director of Photography (DoP) at HAIR RAP BY YOYO is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for planning, shooting, and overseeing visual content that showcases the salon's services, brand story, and creative work across digital and social platforms. Daily tasks include operating cameras, designing lighting setups, collaborating with the creative and marketing teams on concepts, and managing end-to-end video production for campaigns, tutorials, and promotional material. The DoP will ensure consistent visual quality, maintain equipment, and organize shoots within the salon and on location as needed. Working closely with YoYo and the team, the DoP helps translate the brand's artistic vision into compelling visual narratives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Camera Operation and Camera handling, with the ability to select appropriate equipment for different projects.
• Proficiency in Cinematography and Video Production, including planning shots, framing, and managing the full production workflow.
• Expertise in Lighting, with experience designing and adjusting lighting setups for indoor salon shoots and on-location filming.
• Experience creating visual content for social media, digital marketing, and brand storytelling.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with creative, styling, and marketing teams, and communicate visual ideas clearly.
• Strong organizational skills, including file management, scheduling shoots, and maintaining equipment.
• Knowledge of video editing software and basic post-production workflows is an advantage.
• Previous experience in fashion, beauty, or salon-related content creation is beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, photography, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
