Job Description

Epsilon, a Publicis Groupe company, is seeking an experienced Director, Learning & Development, to lead the design, development and execution of learning and capability-building strategies aligned to business priorities, ensuring delivery excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and measurable impact across the organization.

This role will work closely with the Global L&D team and serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, HR Business Partners, to build future-ready capabilities, strengthen leadership effectiveness, drive organizational development interventions, technical training and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Learning Leadership

  • Partner with business and talent leaders to define and execute learning strategies that support business transformation and growth objectives across Leadership, Managerial, Associate and Technical areas.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on talent development, capability building, leadership development, and learning innovation.
  • Develop multi-year capability-building roadmaps aligned with business priorities and workforce requirements.

Learning Program Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end learning lifecycle, including needs assessment, solution design, program implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the annual learning strategy and budget planning together with ensuring high-quality execution of development programs
  • Monitor program effectiveness using data, business metrics, ROI analysis, and learner insights.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders, HR leaders, global learning teams
  • Facilitate strategic discussions to identify capability gaps and recommend innovative learning solutions.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and gain alignment across diverse and matrixed environments.
  • Represent the learning function in leadership forums, and business planning processes.

Innovation & Capability Development

  • Champion innovative learning methodologies, digital learning technologies, AI-enabled learning solutions, and modern capability development practices.
  • Evaluate and implement best-in-class learning approaches, including classroom, virtual, blended, experiential, social, and on-demand learning models.
  • Leverage market trends and external benchmarks to elevate learning effectiveness and practitioner experience.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing learning professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Enable effective resource planning and capability development within the learning team.

Analytics & Business Impact

  • Establish meaningful measures of success and track learning effectiveness through robust reporting and analytics.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize learning investments.
  • Present strategic recommendations and learning outcomes to senior leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organization Development, Talent Development, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years in a people leadership role. Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise learning strategies in large, complex organizations.
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with experience advising senior business leaders. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives in matrixed, global environments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align learning outcomes to organizational objectives. Experience in managing large-scale learning portfolios, budgets, and governance processes.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, leadership development, and talent management practices. Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging learning metrics and business data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and lead through change. Excellent verbal, written, and executive communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or related discipline.
  • Progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Leadership Development, or Human Capital functions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and leading strategic learning initiatives at scale.
