Role Overview
As Lead – Product Consulting, you are accountable for customer outcomes, consulting quality, and team performance at scale. Your mandate is to set direction, review quality, enable leaders, and ensure outcomes.
1. Solution Consulting Excellence (At Scale)
- Own the quality bar for problem discovery and solutioning across all PODs
- Ensure customer problems are consistently translated into scalable, outcome-oriented product solutions
- Review and govern standards for:
○ To-be solution design
○ ROI articulation
○ Success metrics definition
- Act as the final escalation and decision owner for complex or high-impact solution directions
2. Pre-sales Leadership & Commercial Enablement
- Partner with Sales leadership on strategic and enterprise-grade opportunities
- Set and govern standards
- Ensure Product Consulting is a credible, outcome-driven partner in executive sales conversations
- Drive consistency that improves win-rates and reduces sales cycle friction
3. Delivery Health, Adoption & Customer Outcomes
- Own delivery health and adoption outcomes across all PODs
- Hold Senior Product Consultants (SPCs) accountable for predictable delivery and customer outcomes
- Ensure consulting outcomes translate into renewal confidence and expansion potential
4. Voice of Customer → Product Direction
- Institutionalize how customer feedback is captured, synthesized, and prioritized
- Provide structured, impact-based inputs to Product leadership
- Ensure consulting feedback balances:
○ Customer value
○ Enterprise readiness
○ Product scalability
- Act as a senior bridge between customers, consulting, and product strategy
5. People Leadership & POD Governance
- Lead, mentor, and develop Senior Product Consultants (SPCs) as people managers and solution leaders
- Own:
○ Performance management
○ Capability development
○ Succession planning
- Build a sustainable leadership pipeline within Product Consulting
6. Playbooks, Operating Model & Scale
- Define and evolve the Product Consulting operating model
- Drive consistency across PODs while allowing contextual flexibility
- Improve predictability, quality, and scalability as the organization grows
What We're Looking For
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- 10–15 years experience across:
○ Product Consulting
○ Solution Consulting
○ Engagement Management
○ Product Ops / Enterprise SaaS
- 4+ years in people leadership
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS and enterprise workflows
- Experience enabling and governing pre-sales motions
- Proven track record of owning customer outcomes at scale
- Strong structured thinking and executive-level value storytelling
- Ability to operate comfortably at CXO, leadership, and operating-model levels
- MBA is mandatory
Nice to have:
- Exposure to procurement / supply chain / spend workflows
- Experience with Indian and US enterprise customers
- Tier-1 MBA / engineering background
- Willingness to travel for critical leadership engagements
