POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Finance is responsible for the overall leadership and effective management of the Finance Division and Information Systems Department. This role ensures strong financial controls, statutory compliance, accurate reporting, asset protection, and strategic financial support to achieve the hotel's business objectives in line with Hyatt's Purpose of Care.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage all Finance and Information Systems operations, ensuring compliance with Hyatt, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and cash management.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the General Manager and Executive Committee to drive business performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, tax filings, payroll processing, and statutory payments.
- Safeguard hotel assets through effective controls, risk management, and audit processes.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the Finance and IS team while promoting Hyatt values and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field professional qualification (CA / CPA / CMA preferred).
- Minimum 10-15 years of Finance experience in a hotel or large service organization, with senior leadership exposure.
- Strong expertise in financial management, controls, budgeting, compliance, and reporting.
- Proven leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with a strategic, business-oriented mindset.
