Summary:

Responsible for leading and managing the engineering teams to drive the development of innovative software solutions. responsible for translating the company's technical vision into strategy and actionable plans, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for the organization's software products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of engineering initiatives.

Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and processes.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices and technologies.

Manage the software development lifecycle, including planning, prioritization, execution, and delivery of projects.

Maintain strong hands-on involvement in the codebase to guide architectural decisions, review complex implementations, and model best practices. Participate actively in coding, especially in designing core components, solving complex problems, and conducting code reviews.

Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the company's software products.

Contribute to development, and review of product requirements documents, and functional specifications

Track progress, communicate risks and escalate concerns in a timely manner

Establish software development practices and standards

.Net Technology Stack: C#, ASP.Net Core, Angular, Typescript, MySQL/ SQL server, IIS, OOPS, Design patterns, SOLID principles

SQL Technology Stack: MySQL / SQL Server, Performance tuning

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results.

At least 12 years Experience with full software development lifecycle including but not limited to waterfall, Agile and Scrum development practices

At least 7 years experience in agile development

Experience developing solutions for clinical operations preferred

At least 8 years of hands-on application development experience using Microsoft Technologies

Proven expertise in application architecture & system design & development

Understanding of industry best practices and experience in cloud services, automation and integration would be preferred
