The Curriculum Operations and Workforce Director leads end-to-end operations and people management for India-based curriculum teams, serving as a strategic partner to U.S.-based leaders to scale high-quality, independent teams.
About the Role
The Curriculum Operations and Workforce Director is responsible for overseeing the operations of India-based teams and ensuring alignment with department strategies, project priorities, and delivery standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operations of India-based teams, ensuring alignment with department strategies, project priorities, and delivery standards.
- Serve as a strategic and planning partner to U.S.-based leaders, advising on resourcing, capacity, and execution strategies for India-based teams.
- Collaborate with US-based leaders on establishing and scaling Indian teams capable of owning defined projects, tasks, or product areas independently; drive the success of these teams.
- Provide direct line supervision for India-based workforce; build skills, capacity, and leadership by identifying gaps and growth opportunities and implementing development plans to support long-term success.
- Establish and refine operational processes, workflows, and communication norms that support efficient, scalable curriculum development.
- Serve as the primary point of visibility into Indian team operations; proactively identify risks, capacity constraints, and process issues and communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and training efforts for India-based teams, including hiring strategy, role definition, onboarding, and team structure.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in project/program management, human resources management, educational technology, or an acceptable combination of experience in multiple roles.
Required Skills
- Experience with AI tools and workflows.
