Key responsibilities

Own the engineering roadmap for web and mobile channels used by clients and colleagues.
Drive modern front-end engineering - Angular, React, TypeScript and backend-for-frontend patterns on API/microservices platforms.
Stay hands-on through architecture, framework, design and code reviews.
Build shared platforms and component libraries for consistency, accessibility and faster delivery across teams.
Lead and grow large engineering teams, acting as senior escalation point for delivery and production issues.

Role requirements

Deep hands-on background in Angular and/or React, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI engineering.
Proven delivery of mobile apps and responsive web experiences at scale.
Strong experience designing BFF layers and integrating with APIs/microservices.
Solid grasp of performance, security, accessibility and resilience for digital channels.
Experience leading engineering teams in banking or financial services - essential.
